2-Day Course

This is a must training for all CSS staff members, covering the most fundamental aspects of a successful CSS experience. The knowledge gained from these sessions will enable CSS staff to work more efficiently, while complimenting the work of program management. PHA CSS Staff Training II

2-Day Course

This "Round 2" training is designed to complete the education of the CSS staff in the delivery of effective results in their assigned areas of responsibility. The knowledge gained will enable staff to more efficiently attract and manage resources. This training is specifically designed to assist staff in maximizing its effectiveness internally on matters of procurement and budgets. The training is consistent with HUD expectations for CSS programs.

PHA Staff Training-The HOPE VI Development Process and How It Fits
1-Day Course
This 1-day, 5 hour training is designed to thoroughly familiarize housing authority staff, both HOPE VI and particularly non-HOPE VI staff, with the HOPE VI process. Trainers and participants discuss the interactions among existing staff and HOPE VI employees. This session will explore time sharing of blended staff to maximize efficiency and will stress capacity building for staff, as future HA operations will assuredly resemble HOPE VI efforts. Coursework introduces staff to the roles of non-tradition working partners, tax credits and syndication, privatization, asset management and more. This training is ideal for new HOPE VI sites and those planning to submit an application.
