SIN 874-7 Program Integration and Project Management Services

EDTEC provides professional consulting and training services in a wide array of disciplines, including program and project management, program integration and program oversight.

Program and Project Management

  • EDTEC's program and project management services include performing condition assessments; developing master plans, implementation plans, project prioritization, project schedules, project specifications, risk analysis, program budgets and budget control systems; and establishing progress reporting and management information systems. We also offer team building and on-site training services.
  • EDTEC offers cost effective project and program management services to agencies that cannot justify full time or long term staffing in support of program development or project implementation. EDTEC professionals perform and document in-depth analyses of current operational systems. We use qualitative assessment techniques to understand organizational strengths and identify areas for improvement. EDTEC's current state assessment incorporates feedback from all stakeholders in the project management process. Our diagnostic tools, end-user surveys, focus interviews, data inquiries, and point-to-point process mapping, are designed to maximize the amount of information gathered and minimize the time commitment of people within the agency.
  • The assessment analysis and findings are used to determine the program’s current status and identify the steps necessary to reach completion. The assessment results in the development of a comprehensive program for the design, development and implementation of multi-project programs or projects.
  • EDTEC's project directors are committed to timely completion of project deliverables - on time and on budget - through appropriate planning, focused project execution, effective management and control processes, insightful reporting, and aggressive team building.
  • EDTEC services include developing detailed, resource loaded project schedules; developing detailed cost estimates in proposing solutions in a single or multiple project environment; designing and implementing tools and databases to improve management of projects and processes; and measuring the progress of project management initiatives.

We are fully committed to using state-of-the-art computer technology to provide the flexibility to expedite schedules where necessary, augment proven project management processes, as well as utilize major project scheduling tools.

Program Integration

  • EDTEC offers services and skills that assist clients engaged in developing and implementing improvements to complex processes and systems. EDTEC's professionals work side by side with our clients in managing and integrating complex, multi-disciplinary programs.
  • EDTEC engagements are designed to help clients produce measurable value, generally, as defined by the client's key stakeholders. End to end processes are the mechanism for putting strategy into practice. EDTEC examines baseline indicators and certain processes for clarity and relevance to identify opportunities for improvement. By identifying and modifying work breakdown structures, task duration and task interdependencies for development or integration projects, EDTEC helps clients redefine process activities and bring them into line with organization strategies leading to improved service delivery.
  • The primary output and value of program integration lies in providing information, analysis, early insight, and actions to prevent, or identify and resolve, existing and potential program problems for the project manager throughout the life cycle of the program. Continuous risk assessment and risk mitigation efforts of a project support team are essential to ensuring a successful program.
  • Because client personnel have to be organized and prepared to participate in a project support team in order to deliver the post-program implementation value that's most important to the client and its stakeholders, EDTEC offers team building and on-site training services.
